Lost in Space?
So whats going on with the project?
In November'22 my project won a "honorable mention" at playfestival in Hamburg. Yay :) There was also a short playsession streamed. There is also a video of that out there somewhere, but you have to look for it by yourself ;-)
I'm still working on a couple of updates lately, even if it got very quite around the project. I added some gameplay features (e. g. a new powerup), fixed some bugs and focus right now on the usability. As you can see on the screenshot, I added an optional overlay. Its there to tell users where to find the painting tool (when available). Is is toggle-able and includes an qrcode generator. The url can be adjusted via an config file.
Next I'm focus a bit more on the UI of the drawing tool. I will make it a bit more useable for mobile devices. Better would be to rewrite it completely, but that would take too much time, which I don't have. Hopefully I can release this game still this year. Probably still open source, but a standalone (non-web) version might not face the day.
I'm full of other ideas and projects so I have to cut this time-waster short. I guess I waste too much time and energy on this project already.
